| The "new" Ain't Scared |

|
| Waco was an exciting race. Greg had a new boat, new truck, and
new trailer. This was a learning experience for all of his
crew. Learning things like, don't forget the tail gate is up on
the "new" truck when you pull out from under the goose-neck,
and don't forget to fill the hot water heater in the trailer (makes for
some cold showers). Kenneth made a new friend about Minden, LA
named Sgt. Booth, something about 80 in a 70. Friday there were
only two passes made for test and tune. The 11 sec. green boat
turned a 12.04 on the first round (first round on this boat period), and
a 10.31 on the second round. Saturday it must have rained 4
inches. (The wind was so bad it was shaking the trailer)
The trash flowing down the Brazos river took out the
center line of the course. SDBA decided to run lowest number v/s
highest number on Sunday due to the fact that there was no
qualifying. Then the "sprit" water ritual began. Sometime
late Saturday night someone, and Scott I am not calling any
names, made Greg a CAUTION TAPE tail gate for his new purple
dually.
Well, Sunday was a big mess, people getting stuck in the pits (including
Greg) and no racing to take place. Tina also had to "adapt
and overcome" the rain on the way home, she had her best friend
hanging out the window and manually making the windshield wipers work
(sorry Crissy). You should have been
there..... See Yall in
